Headshot Daily: 12/2/20

Welcome to Headshot Daily and every Wednesday, the barriers are down and I include a whole load of different genres

Black Angel Gathering
And we’ll begin with the latest episode of Black Angel Gathering, which I uploaded yesterday. Hosted by DJ Marcel P, it’s like a history lesson of Alternative music, from EBM, Industrial, Gothic etc…

Myrkur – Leaves of Yggdrasil (Official Music Video)
https://www.facebook.com/myrkurmyrkur/

I genuinely don’t understand the idiots who hurl abuse towards Myrkur. For me, Amalie Bruun, is one of the most exciting artists to emerge in the past few years

The new Myrkur album, Folkesange, is out on March 20th via Relapse Records and the video for Leaves of Yggdrasil has just been released

St Lucifer Single
https://www.facebook.com/stluciferlive

St Lucifer trail their new rarities & remix compilation with a brand new 2-track single entitled Razor/Eraser, released on the 7th of February via AnalogueTrash.

Both tracks are completely new to the St Lucifer canon, while also being the first to be released with their latest line-up – which includes core members David Fox (Vocals/Guitar/Tech) and Alice Class (Drums/Vocals) – and introducing Ashleigh Talbot on bass (also of ded.pixel) and Amy Griffiths (also of Still Forever) on vocals and ‘nefarious tech’.

Check out the super-infectious grooves of Razor

Benevolent Like Quietus Single
https://www.facebook.com/blqband

Calgary’s Benevolent Like Quietus are gearing up to release their debut album on March 13th. They dwell somewhere between the worlds of Goth and Metal and should appeal to both camps

The first single off “Kill The Bliss” is ‘Dawn of Rust’, one of the more mellow songs on the album.

“With the new single ‘Dawn of Rust’, we’re hoping to give a good glimpse of the album to come without pulling out all the stops. The song is a lament to the daily grind of life, societal pressure and overall decay of joy. Basically, if you can’t relate, you may not be human.”

You can check out the track, via You Tube
